I am a newbie in homebuilt systems, please bear with me.

Recently my PC failed to boot, turn it on, and it will switch off itself after 10 secs. After fiddling around with the parts, found out that 1 of my ram sticks is faulty (Corsair C4DHX 2Gb). I pull that out and things runs smoothly, but with only 2Gb.

So right now I'm thinking of maybe trying my luck to get a replacement on that Ram stick, but meanwhile, I'm thinking of getting a OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Reaper CL4 4Gb to add on to my mobo (Asus P5Q Pro), which in the end will adds up to 6gb. I am curious whether there will be any compatibility issues if I were to use RAM from different vendors on the same board?

Thanks in advance
