6GB RAM Installed, Bios and Windows only sees 4

Hello all,

Just built my first computer and am having some issue getting the system to recognize the full amount of RAM.

Here's what I got:
Asus P6X58D Motherboard
Corsair XMS3 (3x2GB)
Intel Core i7-930
Windows 7 64-bit

I'm sure this is a triple-channel motherboard, and I have the RAM installed in the slots specified by the manual, so I'm not sure if maybe there is a bad stick of RAM or a bad slot? Any ideas?

I'm supposing you can only see 3.99GB? See if this works:
Start -> msconfig in search bar -> Boot Tab -> Advanced Options -> Check maximum memory box - > type in 6144 - > Apply -> Apply -> OK.

Sorry to waste your time guys but the answer was actually much simpler. I was just messing around with the sticks and forgot to push one back in completely. I appreciate the responses though.
