6GB RAM Installed, Bios and Windows only sees 4 Tags: Memory BIOS RAM Last response: April 18, 2010 4:39 AM in Memory Share nicthu April 10, 2010 4:23:35 AM Hello all, Just built my first computer and am having some issue getting the system to recognize the full amount of RAM. Here's what I got: Asus P6X58D Motherboard Corsair XMS3 (3x2GB) Intel Core i7-930 Windows 7 64-bit I'm sure this is a triple-channel motherboard, and I have the RAM installed in the slots specified by the manual, so I'm not sure if maybe there is a bad stick of RAM or a bad slot? Any ideas?
