Hey guys, so I've decided i'm going to buy a new PC soon, and this is what i have so far

Motherboard: MSI-P55M-GD45 INTEL P55/ICH10R
CPU: Core i5 i5-750 2.66GHz 8MB LGA1156
RAM: 2 x 2GB A-DATA 1333MHz DDR3
Case: Cooler Master Chassis HAF 922
GPU: EVGA GTX260/275 or something cheaper
PSU: CM Real Power M520, CM eXtreme Power 500W, Corsair 650TX, OCZ 600W

So i need advice on the PSU, what do you think i should get? My manufactuer reccomends CM Real Power 520W.

And for GPU, i'm planning to get a GT300 when its out, so what do you think i should get now? I tought i could get a GTX260 and when GT300 is out i can use my guarantee to replace the GTX260 and pay up for a GT300.

Can't wait for your replies.

Cheers,

Trax

Well for the mobo i would suggest Gigabyte P55 boards. ]
RAM: 1600MHz CL7 from GSkill or A-DATA or Corsair.
PSU: TX650W or even VX550W will be enough.
If you are looking for a temporary card then no point going for the GTX260. Get something lower than that and buy a fresh one when GT300 comes out. But waiting for that may turn into months. so better get HD5850 and enjoy DX11!

I tought of getting something cheaper even if i have to wait, cuz i have school anyway, and that means less gaming... And get something better in the summer.
I have only the graphic card left to decide :) for PSU gonna get the TX650 :)

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum

For PSU my vote goes for the Corsair 650TX and after for the OCZ, the other 2 i assume that are Coolermaster (CM), but the power could be not enough with a GTX3xx or HD58xx.

For GPU, the GTX260 is a nice card (I have one), the HD 58xx is too much better with DX11, but today anyone game not use the DX11 as the prefer engine ( see this ), so, IMO you can get a GTX260 and save your money till March when the GTX3xx comes out.

Hey, tnx man :) . That was really helpfull i might get GTX260 now, cuz there's hardly any difference in DX11 at the moment...
BTW i saw a review for Corsair 650TX and Corsair 750TX and he said that the 750TX will be able to power up any graphic card in the future, so i might end up getting 750TX and i'm set for a longer time. What do you think?

------

The 750TX is a good option for the future, maybe in few months you want upgrade your processor or add another stuff, so, is better an extra power and not missing power

OK so I went to my manufactuer and I found out that 5850 is cheaper than i tought it is, and i can afford it now :)
So the only thing that remains is the PSU... I think they can't get corsair...
Can you guys land a few good PSU's around 500-650 W?

Tnx in advance
