I ran out of space on my system.
Got a new second drive, installed it and in setting it up, I made the partition C:backup
C:backup is now a link to my new drive.
After 90GB of data was moved to this drive, my wife wants to change things a bit.
She wants the new drive to be F:
Is there a way to change this without affecting the data that has been transferred?

Solution

Disk Management. You can rename the Drive Letter Designation. Here's how.

I had seen this but was worried about loosing data. I did follow the instructions and it worked just fine. Thank you for convincing me there was no worry.

Just had some pgms that couldn't find their way and had to show them the right path. Thanks again - I don't know where the "Best Answer" button is but you nailed it!
