I flashed my bios from the intel site and it turned out to be the wrong bios. The computer booted and everything but it always said the the AA numer was not entered, presss any key to continue. I was also experiencing some troubles with drivers, so i tried to flash it back to the old version, but it said it was incompatible. Finally i was able to flash through DOS, or so i thought. It says in my BIOSID file that it is the correct one, but in CPU-Z it still shows it as the incorrect version. So now my computer boots, but not if i have a keyboard plugged in, and i don't get a bios splash screen when it boots, it just stays black for 20-30 seconds then goes to the windows screen. I dont know what I did, anyone have any ideas as to how i can fix this mess ive made.

playing with bios is a one shot deal but I'm sure you already know that. I would suggest that if it gets to frustrating to just buy another mobo and forget all about the problem before you drive yourself nuts. Good luck
