pci express is an internal expansion slot on the mb therefor, that would be unavailable in all countries

I believe the OP is referring to something like the ASUS XG Station; an external graphics card compartment which connects to a laptop via the Expresscard slot. I've never actually seen this available on the market and with the Expresscard slot's x1 bandwidth, it would be quite limiting for gaming type graphic cards (albeit better than onboard).
