Wow, according to this, grandma needs help ordering for parts. Here's what she ordered:

SWF file

  • Q9550
  • 16GB DDR2
  • 2 1TB 7200rpm HDDs
  • GeForce "900 GT"
  • Striker II" mobo
  • Wireless mouse and keyboard
  • 2 24" displays

Seller quoted her for around $3,905 (!). Did the company behind the ad really do their research? Those specs are simply too much for someone supposedly wanting to play Diablo 3. Do you think this setup's better? (Newegg.com prices)

I don't think Grandma would want to overclock, so I'm settling for a 550W PSU. Total is $1,151. Whatcha think?

My bet is that the graphic engine for Diablo3 is going to be modeled after WoW WotLK, my bet is that whatever works best in WoW will be optimum for Diablo3 also.
