The screen of my hp g71-340US notebook has suddenly got a black mark on it .

Hello,
About 24 hours ago on the screen of my G71-340US notebook appeared a black mark on the bottom right hand corner. The mark is about 2cm in height and it looks almost as though something is 'bleeding'. Is my computer going to crash? I need to know as I am doing an online degree.

Can u take a screenshot, if it shows there too? If its not there, it could be the screen.
