Hi Guys,

Looking to build a ~$500 HTPC to use with Hauppauge HD-PVR High Definition Video Recorder. I have a Netgear ReadyNAS 1TB drive (2TB in Raid mirror), a gigabit network, laptop and 50’1080P TV.

These were the parts I was thinking. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
I want to mainly record HD TV shows and use ComSkip, as well as play back mkv/avi/wmv movie downloads.

Items:

AMD Athlon II X2 250

Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H

Crucial Rendition 2GB 1X2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 240PIN DIMM Memory

Antec NSK1380 Case

Mediagate Windows Vista MCE Infrared Remote Control and Receiver

Corsair VX450 450W

Startech 2.5IN IDE Hard Drive Mounting Adapter for 3.5IN Drive Bay
(I have a 200GB 2.5’’ HD and a 1TB NAS)

Thanks!
