My systems has been cd-less for some years now. Most cd's were read once, archived/imaged and stuffed back in to their installation box for eternity. My new rig dosnt even have CD drive to begin with, as most of the installs are done via bootable thumbdrives. also my live OSes runs off thumbdrive.

People with cd-less system share your experience plz

lol I was going to go CDless (DVDless actually) to stay under budget for my build but I ended up salvaging an IDE DVD Drive from an old computer to install Windows 7 (luckily my new P8P67 LE motherboard supports IDE =D).

No extra dollars spent, though I rarely use the drive.
Mainly use it to make images using Daemon Tools before putting the CD/DVDs back into storage.
