APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 1-2 weeks

BUDGET RANGE: $900-1100 (including monitor) After Rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: watching, ripping, editing movies/video files; gaming; Blu-ray playback; surfing the net; Photoshop,

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: mouse & keyboard, speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com preferrably

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: US

PARTS PREFERENCES: no real preference to brand; Blu-ray reader

OVERCLOCKING: Probably

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: need to purchase - 1920x1080 or 1920x1200

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Looking at building my first PC since high school (been limited to my 3 year old laptop I got in college). I'd been looking at an all-in-one desktop since I have limited desk space, but figured I get more for my money by building my own PC. Plan on buying a new monitor, somewhere around 24" - suggestions welcome.

Maybe something like this - you could upgrade to a 5850, but it put you over budget, so I left it out
