Key board has made it recessicary to hold down keys to enter letter how do i rev

I held down a key too long and the key now that i push doesn't operate instantly. it has to be held down for about 2 seconds before it will enter a letter how do i reverse this?

Go to Start button \ Control Panel or Windows Explorer Control Panel, Accessibility Options > Keyboard > and see that none of the 4 checkboxes is marked.

You may also need to check in: Control Panel > Keyboard > Speed tab > See if the Repetition delay slider is towards long.. and slide it towards short..
