Hey guys Im pretty new to the computer seen and have a few questions for the community.

What should I be monitoring for when I OC my GPU? Should I have a max GPU temp set if so what temp should be considered max? If im using the EVGA OC tool do I just keep bumping up the Core Clock until I see Artifacts? And what about shader clocks?

My set up is a Dell XPS 8300, i7-2600, 6GB memory, EVGA GTX 570, Corsair 600Watt PSU

You just need EVGA Precision and EVGA OC Scanner. Set it so that the shader clock moves with the core clock.

I'm not sure on an exact temperature range - remember to listen to fan noise.

You should definitely check out this EVGA thread of GTX 570 over clocks:
