Licence COA OEM.

Hi to all.
I am asking if a PC which was running Windows NT can run Windows XP on the NT OEM COA License, or does the machine with the OEM COA need a new License, ive scoured the web but still cant find a definitive answer, any one know the answer to this, much appreciated if some one can tell me.

The machine in question has the original mobo and the OEM COA NT License, can a retail outlet install Windows XP with the current license, or do i need to purchase a new License.

Far as I know Win2k and XP licenses are not interchangeable, much less the old NT3.5.
