I already have a sound card, hard drive, and a power supply. This is my second build, and I'm not too familiar with the i5 or how the CPU Cooler will fit.. Any advice and knowledge is greatly appreciated!

What is the purpose of the machine?

Knowing the monitor resolution is important for knowing what graphics card is needed.

I like the looks of that case. Lots of fans to move air.

I dont see the point in buying an old 9800 GTX+, its stuck at DX10. For the same price you could get a 5750 and for $30 more you could get a significantly faster 5770. The 5700s are DX11 so you will be set for new games coming out over the next few years.

Well the only real intensive game I play, and will be playing is EverQuest 2, since I have a 360 and buy all my games for that. I'm not entirely sure of the resolution but its an Acer 19" LCD. That has some absolutely gigantic fans, and I love the color screen ;) Currently had to ship the MOBO back because it was Dead on Arrival :'( I'll post an update when I get it back.

In case anyone is curious as to what happened, I plugged everything in correctly, but when I pressed the power button, it flickered for not even half a second..
