Hi All

Over the last 4 weeks, Ive RMA'd, Refunded and returned about 6 GPUs both ATi & GeForce and had 1 PSU removed due to bad performance. After alot of checking around and digging, it turns out that the ASUS P5N-E SLi has alot of compatibility issues with everything from OCZ ram to PCI-e issues.

Ive decided to make a last attempt and buy a Sapphire stock HD5850, which arrives tomorrow. However, after seeing the above link, this may turn out to be another head shaking moment.

My question is:

Has anyone used this mobe or the P5N32 SL with success with a 5850 or did you manage to fix these problems and how did you manage. However, any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated.

BTW, My P5N-E SLi has BIOS 1406, and latest Win7x64 chipset drvs.

Many thanks

Yeah.. Ive decided to do that today, cant even be bothered to check if the P5NE might work, its that troublesome.

Ive looked at the ASUS P5Q SE2, but cant find anything on this board. Has anyone used this mobo,
