I have built a few systems in the past but my current Rig is about 5 years old. So it is time to buff it up!

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Ready to order parts today!

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Will be buying everything new.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, but I am open to trying other sites

PARTS PREFERENCES: by brand or type : I7, the rest is flexible.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE

MONITOR RESOLUTION: I am looking for a new monitor as well. Max settings on all games.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Building from the ground up for lasting Gaming performance. Would like a DX11 card with the option to add a second later if needed (or two now if something is priced reasonably) Solid State drives possible, if someone can reccomend a non-buggy setup. Thanks in advance for the advice!

$25 off combo deal on i7 920 and Asus P6T

$10 off combo deal on SAMSUNG F3 500GB HDD and Windows Vista

And the DIAMOND HD 5870 has gone out of stock in just the last couple of minutes.

Yes, 24" widescreen is about right. 30" would be too much.
