Hi!

I've just installed a GA-EP41-UD3L MoBo. It seems to work fine but when I plug a USB Flash Drive to boot from, the system freezes. My USB Flash Drive is bootable, I've checked it in another PC and works fine.

If I power on the PC with the flash drive plugged it freezes in the LOGO Screen and I can't do anything. If I'm in the BIOS and then I plug the USB Flash Drive it freezes inmediately.

Searching on Google I've seen that another models of Gigabyte MoBo has the same problem.

My system specs are:

Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L MoBo
Intel Pentium D 820 Processor
2Gb Kingston HyperX DDRII PC-8500 RAM

Do you how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english...

USB-HDD is the first boot device in bios boot order. Howeber, in this MoBo to boot from usb flash drive you have to set the it in "Hard disk device priority" because the MoBo detects usb flash drives like another hdd more.

The problem is that with an usb flash disk plugged, system freezes.
