I would go with the Radeon HD 5850 or put out an extra $100 for the 5870. Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... I would also go with a good 750w power supply so that if you would like to do crossfire later you can. Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Considering you want an intel chip you can go with the I5 because in game it performs just as well as the I7. If you pick out parts and find that you have extra money I would switch to the I7. Also I would buy at least 4gb of ram. mi1ez a b à CPUs January 6, 2010 1:32:59 PM At that budget a core i7-920 must be the way to go I would think. Well the common brands recommended on here are Asus and gigabyte. Question are you going to be doing SLI/Crossfire with your system or a single gpu system? (both of these motherboards have USB 3.0 ports on them) Single Gpu motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Multi: gpu motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... These 2 motherboards i chose because to me, i think there a good price. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
