Thank you for your help..

This is what I would make with a $600 budget (though I ran $34 over, or $24 including rebate, can probably shave an additional $15 by using lesser but still good ram if you are that concerned about the budget, and for I think it was close to $20 more there was a combo with the CPU with a different mobo that had Crossfire)

Combo discount -$10, Mail in -$10, Total combo price $178

Subtotal: $634.94
After rebate: $624.94

BTW shipping isn't all that bad as the big heavy case/psu has free shipping. (and for refernce shipping just the thermaltake case and PSU cost me $25 to ship that alone so I saved $30 that way, so it adds up quick)

The above build can easily be brought under budget by swapping the 5770 for a 5750.

And yes i do need a Monitor..19 would be good...guess a good cheap one..lol

Reply to DRO121

Plus would i need to buy extra fans for the case..or it has good air flow.

Reply to DRO121

So the monitor is included in the $600 budget? Yes you could use the 4850 if you're just getting a 19" monitor and need to save the $30. The specs on that Crucial RAM are pretty poor. CAS 6 DDR2 800 RAM is not impressive. The build recommended by assasin32 requires DDR3 RAM.

What OS will you be using? It's pretty weird to see 2GB on a new build. I know you said you would upgrade to 4GB, but a 2x2GB setup is much better than a 4x1GB setup if there's any way to swing it.

Adding in the monitor to the $600 budget, changes things a bit

My bad did not read the spec on the memory..your right bud.Well this paycheck getting the Pc..Next week the monitor if i have to..just want a good computer...always can borrow one...lol

Reply to DRO121

Looks, good, but my understanding was that the monitor had to be included in the budget, and you've already blown the $600 max with just the above parts.

Edit: nvm, you answered this while I was posting.

You won't get to use all 4GB of RAM with a 32-bit OS. Do you already have the OS? Windows 7 official release date is this Thursday. You can also get Windows 7 for $30 if you happen to be a student.

Reply to DRO121

Yes, it will run with no issues, it just doesn't quite take full advantage of your hardware.
