HD5870 on Asus P5KC mobo

Need Advise.

I'm planning to get HD5870 for my P5KC with PCIe spec:
2 x PCIe x16 (blue @ x16 mode, black @ x4 or x1 mode) Supports CrossFire Technology

Does PCIe x16 is v1.0? or 1.1? I know that it is backward compatible. I use HD4830 now.
But will it bottleneck the HD5870?
In CF mode, does the 2nd PCIe x4 or x1 support this card? Bottleneck again?

There will be a major bottleneck in the second one.
If it's x1 mode when the other is being used @ x16, then crossfire will be horrendous.

So, it'll be useless to use CF on my mobo. How bout the PCI-e x16 (1st slot)?

I have the same motherboard, My 5770 card seems to be really slow on it.
