Hi everyone,
this isn't the first time I've built a system but it is the first time I've gone through and selected all the components myself. I've probably spent a good few weeks reading as many articles as I can, especially on this site, and the forums.

I thought I had figured out what I wanted but as I read more I become unsure sometimes. My original thought for my motherboard was to go with:

Asus P7P55D PRO
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX25687(ME).aspx

and then use 4gb Kingston ValueRAM 4GB PC3-10600 as I am on a bit of a budget.

However, after looking around more I found the eVGA P55 LE at the same store with a $30 mail in rebate.

Combined with a

Corsair 4GB Dominator PC3-12800 Dual Channel DDR3 Kit (2 x 2GB) kit

After rebates the evga board and corsair ram are cheaper.

For usage, I mostly game (although I'm not the type to require fastest frame rate possible on the highest resolution). I wouldn't mind trying to overclock with this build, and I will be using crossfire in the future.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

the asus board supports crossfire at x8 x8 will the ebga board lend sreduced bandwidth for the second graphics card...

so asus board is a better choice...

the ram with it is pretty ok...
