Hello,

Iam currently looking for a really good memory that can run on its rated speed of DDR3-1600 on dubal channels , maybe increasing voltages but not much as on long run might damage the component.

I had been actually hearing much about the 955 Memory controller having some limitations running ouver 1333 on dual channels but with some tweaks might do it!

Specs. are the following:
AMD PhenomII X4 955 125W RB-C2 @Stock speed ,but OC soon to 3.8 with Multipler increase only!
GA-MA790FXT-UD5P , BIOS@F7.
HIS HD5850
Thermaltake W0116RU 750Watt 80Plus PSU
Gigabyte Triton 180 case , moving soon to HAF932

Am having the following models on my wish list and would like some advice on them:
G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
OCZ OCZ3G1600LV4GK
Its just a initial , if you do have any better models give me a hint!

Any idea of the best choice to make ? Am buying the memory from MemoryC.com , Any good?

If you plan on overclocking to 3.8 you will need to increase voltage to the 1.5V range, not too much more otherwise you run the risk of overvolting your CPU.

As for your best RAM question 4GB will run Windows 7 minimum, however 6+ is best so that basic utilities don't tie up RAM that many games require.
