Xp Home and wireless drivers

Hello,
I have just reinstalled XP Home Edition but now have now wireless drivers. Even downloading from Intel site and putting on usb stick and then trying to run on the Norebook it apepars to load but when I check there is nothing in the device manager. What am I doing wrong.
