I have 4 Spanned Drives and another 4 Spanned Drives, both sets of drives are same size.
Question 1) I dont suppose there is a way to turn the second set (which would appear as 1 large virtual drive) into a mirrored drive of the other large virtual drive.
Unfortunately I would be using RAID-5 right now but my Intel Raid on the mobo only recognizes my 3TB drives as being 750GB and I do not want to buy aftermarket controllers.
At this time my only solution is to use a program like Second Copy, which simply reads both drives - compares them then synchronizes them at specific intervals.
Question 2) What happens if one of the drives in the spanned set of 4 drives fails? The others can they be read by the computer?
