I have been ordering parts for a new computer and the last part I ordered was the power supply but i didn't notice that the video card i got, the GTX 260, asks for 500w and the power supply i ordered is only 460w would it still work or will I have problems using this power supply?

Depends on your other parts and the quality of your psu, but probably will be OK.

First thing I notice is only one 6-pin connector. The 260 used two. This is not the end of the world because you can still uses two Molex connectors with the adapter that should have come with the 260, unfortunately the power supply shows 70%+ effeciency, which is of the lower end. What cpu are you running? The lga 1366 i7's are power hogs as are a number of AMD cpu's. Are you going to do RAID?

Here's a link for a calculator, although amps are just as important (probably more) than watts.

It should run it okay. As long you dont have over a quad oc at 4.0ghz+ 3+ hardrives and 5+ fans.

CORSAIR makes a good solid 650watt PSU.It has 2 6pin pci-x connectors and has plenty of amps on the 12v rail to last for a long time.Goodluck.
