Does anyone know of any good DDR3, Triple Channel, 6GB Ram deals right now? I am looking for the best bang for your buck (i.e. low latency, quality ram) for under $200.

Thanks.

Keith

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

For 1600, this G.Skill PI series 1600 CL7 are very good.

For 1333, this Mushkin 1333 CL7 are very good.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had previously considered the G.Skill set but noticed that in other forum posts, people often suggested alternatives to those.

What do you think about either of these?

Which brings up a good questions. What is more important....Latency vs. Clock Speed? Is it better to have 1600 ram over 1333 or CL7 over CL8?

Well, Crucial is very good (I have 4GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer).

Now, CL vs Speed. In you case, is better 1600 CL8 that 1333 CL7 because the difference will be <1%.
