Hi,

I have currently a e6400 on a P5B dlx. It was hard to instal the cpu w/ the stock heatsink on the board (2 years ago) b/c the cable from the PSU to the CPUs socket is too short. I totally forgot that when I decided to buy my updates parts.

I was wondering if it's possible to find any extension and where?

Excellent! but it's newegg.com =((.
Tried to find it on newegg.ca but it doesnt exist.
This cable is correct?
Athena Power 12" EPS-12V (8Pin) connector Extension Cable Model Cable-AD10 - OEM
I have this one too, a little cheaper with less description:
APEVIA 9.5" 4 Pin P4 /12V to 8 Pin P8 /12V Power Supply Converter Cable Model CVT48

I'll be checking on ncix and tigerdirect your cable...

If your motherboard has an 8-Pin connector, either the first or third ones will work just fine. You can choose which ones is best for you..

Oh my god. The shipping is 200% the price. Ewww... 10$ for a 5$ item. They should have a politic against these kind of rob. Bad USP... tsk tsk tsk

I was just confused b/c the third cable I posted is the same you posted... so basic logic: Third cable = First cable; Second cable = Athena; Third cable = APEVIA. I know I am crazy.
