Best memory for my rig

I have a evga 780i sli board with a q9550 cpu and 800Mhz ram, and was wondering if there would be a big change if I went to 1066Mhz ram?

No, there's hardly any difference at all between 800MHz and 1066MHz, especially on LGA 775 systems. In fact if the timings are a lot looser on the 1066 RAM it could even be slower.
