i pulled my ram sticks and graphics card today. Ram is twin 512mbs pc2-4200u-444-12, graphics card is E-G012-05-2800(B). dxdiag calls this g card an ATI x300/x550/x1050 series. i need to up grade to either one 2gig stick, or 2 1gig twins, and i would like to upgrade my g card. my wife, opps i mean "budget" is about $200 at max lol. i have gotten about as far as i can go alone, and i know no one at all that is tech smart on this level. i use the pc for gaming and did fine with wow but EQ2 still lags at the lowest setting, any help is great none is completely understood lol. thanks for your time. oh amd please ask questions if they can help you help me. i will check this in the morning, and by the way, the kids got killer candy for Halloween, bags and bags.

OK, probably safe to stick with the components I listed.

You can't upgrade much above those without building a whole new PC.

I don't know your motherboard so I'm keeping the RAM speeds the same.

Corsair 2 x 1GB PC2 4200 - $46.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820145527

I don't know your resolution or PSU so the following video card is quality for 1650 x 1050 resolutions and low powered PSU's.

Sapphire HD 4670 1 GB - $59.99 after rebate
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814102855

We can enhance that GPU and memory even more if your Motherboard, monitor and PSU allow it. Reply back with details on those components and I'll revise my suggestions if needed.

It's not a part of that list but given those components I was able to determine your Dell computer model and the PSU will suffice for the parts.
