I am running XP with a Nvidia 9500GT and using both monitors with one to a TV for HD stuff. What I'd like to know is, is there any way I can turn the PC monitor off while I watch TV (because it's distracting)???

So the question is can you have one screen go blank on a dual head video card?

I dont know why you cant just turn it off, but anyways, you can always have a plain black wallpaper with no icons on the desktop.

And, by distraction, if you meant the light of the monitor that is distracting you, then I am afraid you will have to switch off the monitor unless you have some black bubble gum to stick on the LED..

If u r using only one screen u can turn off dual monitor setup form the nvidia control panel or from the window display settings.....

U can save system resources and kill the distraction.....
