I have a costum computer which is built around 700$. I have a Asus Eah2600xt 512 mb graphics card installed right now and looking foward to upgrading to something good around 250$. I am unable to decide between hd 5770 and hd 4890.Beacause 4890 has 256 bit memory bus and the other has 128 bit one but 5770 has 1 GHz more Memory Clock. Does the 1ghz memory clock difference or 2x memory bus difference count?

To recommend you an appropriate graphics card we need to know:

(1) Games you play and at what resolution/settings
(2) Total system settings (specifically: processor, power supply, memory)

My processor is AMD Phenom 8650, a triple core processor, one core is 2.3 ghz
My RAM is 2 x 2Gb A-Data memories
And the power supply is 550 w

I want to play games like GTA 4, NFS: Shift, All point's bulletin ( in the future) and so on

What kind of 550W power supply? Might be tight on the high end HD48xx series cards, the 5770 is a little lighter on the power requirements.

Performance will favour the HD4890, but it might mean a PSU upgrade.
