I have an old Radeon 9250 PCI (yep that's right, not PCIe) card. I was hoping to build an i5 system and use that card until the 5670's show up (I am running 1280 x 1024 and don't plan on gaming more than 2 or 3 hours a week).
Does anyone know if Win 7/i5 will play nice with my dinosaur of a card?
I think it might be powerful enough to run aero, because my wife runs aero on Vista on intel GMA 3100 and that falls below 9250 in the hierarchy chart.
I considered going AMD due to their much better onboard graphics to hold me over, but too many reviews have lavished too much praise on the 750 and I think that is the direction I want to go.

Like I said, I will not be using it mainly for gaming. From what I hear, it is a great productivity/multitasking proc. Plus, I don't plan on changing the CPU ever...the GPU is flexible later. If they come out with a good 5750 for around $100 I will go for it, but for now, I just want to know if anyone has any experience running a really old PCI video card on a newer system.
