I just got a new pc, its got a xp OS. just looking at an Nvidea 9400gt 1Gb card, but it says built for vista. will it still work with Windows XP?

Short answer yes. Just be sure to download the XP drivers from nVidia's site.

ok so the driver disc that comes with wont work?

It should do but they won't be the latest.

I'm using that driver on an 8400GS and a 9500GT, so as that's sort of in the middle I'd say yes.http://forums.hexus.net/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

oh and also guys, i no how to install it, im just wondering if when i install it will it still start up and go to windows normally? if not do i just put the disc in and it will run???

Yes, then go here :- http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us, get the latest drivers (191.07), install, and you should be good to go.http://forums.hexus.net/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
