Will a graphics card built for vista work on xp

I just got a new pc, its got a xp OS. just looking at an Nvidea 9400gt 1Gb card, but it says built for vista. will it still work with Windows XP?

  1. Short answer yes. Just be sure to download the XP drivers from nVidia's site.

    It should do but they won't be the latest.

  6. I'm using that driver on an 8400GS and a 9500GT, so as that's sort of in the middle I'd say yes.

    Yes, then go here :- http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us, get the latest drivers (191.07), install, and you should be good to go.
