DDR3 Memory

Have this mobo:

"Intel BOXDP55WB LGA 1156 Intel P55 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard"

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813121388&local=y

Thinking of getting this RAM:

http://secure.ncix.com/products/?sku=48183&vpn=OCZ3V10662G&manufacture=OCZ%20Technology

Would this work? Voltage on RAM is 1.5, which is within the range, am I right?

Thanks,

  1. Looks like it they will work together. You might want to view Intel's qualified vendors list for RAM for that board - QVL RAM has been tested and known to work with the board.

  3. You can also check on OCZ's website. Usually the value ram from OCZ and Corsair will work on just about any motherboard. They are really common ram. It never hurts to make sure before you buy.
