how can i find out the speed and information of my hard drive it doesnt say on it and i have tried everest and it does not say on that either are there any other tools all i know its a caviar green 1tb

You can use SisSoft Sandra, but for a quick answer, the WD Caviar Green uses an optimizing chip and varies its rpm between 5400 and 5900 to optimize low power & throughput. In other words, there is no set rpm for the Caviar Green.
