You also have to power the processor, which may use over 150w by itself. I don't know what processor you have. You also have to power the motherboard and fans.
I would get at least a 500w supply to be on the safe side.

500w would be plenty I wouldnt feel comfortable with anything under 500w really..

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/HIS/HD_5770/28.html yeah it's the 5770 and it uses 85W peak, so 5750 should be below that, maybe something like 70-75w. If the cpu is some 'low power' dualcore, like core2, it should work just fine, but with quad or power hungry pentium4/d it might be bit too close
Is this a Dell computer? I don't see that many 305W powersupplies out there. If it is, then you would have 22amps on your +12 rails and the HD 5750 should work fine if everyone on this forum claims it only uses only 66-75W.
Also, if it's a Dell, make sure you that you get a single bracket card. Double brack cards will not fit if you have a BTX motherboard, unless you go to the extreme and modify the case.
I am still running a HD 3850 on my Dell Dimension E520 for about 2 years now and it uses about 95W on my 305W powersupply.
