Hello and I hope you guys can help,
I've installed Vista Enterprise 32 bit onto my new PC. I've downloaded the latest drivers for my motherboard and thats when the problems begin. It seems like my PC isn't recognizing my graphics card (9500gt). I went into Device Manager and under Display adapters it says "Standard VGA graphics Adapter", i'm guessing it should say 9500gt? i went to Nvidia.com and downloaded the latest drivers and installed. i went through the installation and it asked for a restart. During the restart it stops just after the screen with the loading bar at the bottom. I have to restart again and click 'Last known config.." to get back to my desktop and of course the drivers did not install.
Tried reinstalling Vista, disabling Windows Firewalls etc.
Specs:
Asus M4N78
2gb DDR2 RAM
9500gt
200GB HDD
Windows Vista Enterprise 32bit
Please post ANY suggestions.
