P5K premium wifi-ap NO POST

I have assembled a pc recently and one the first boot nothing has shown up on screen, not even the post. Is this a problem with the ram or the motherboard or whatever?

P5K Premium wifi-ap (black pearl)
Intel Q9400
2 x 2gb PC2-6400 ram
Evo Labs 400 watt psu + case
Sony DVD–+RW
Maxtor 250 GB
Nvidia 7900GT

If the ram is installed, when powered on the fans all spin no beeps codes, nothing on monitor
If the ram is NOT installed, when powered on the speaker beeps, no memory
