After weeks of BSODs, restarts, freezes, and no solution from Patriot memory I finally returned my Patriot Wildfire.

Reading through the forums and I read that the SF-2200 controller had problems and that is what the Wildfire had. Now I'm looking to get another one. In another two weeks.

I see that the they have the updated controller SF-2281, does this fix this problem?

here are the ones i'm looking at:

I'm not sure what the difference is between the two mushkins and the two Kingston Hyper X's, except the price they look the same.

I really leaning towards the Kingston one.

Just reading through reviews over the internet, seems that a lot of people are having problems with it. I ignored the reviews on Wildfire and had a lot of problems with it.
What is the advantage of buying Vertex III over the Hyper X?

Thanks, we really care about delevering the best product that we can.
