Can you boot into safe mode to try to fix Windows ?
Replace the DVD Drive

Did you run update advisot to see if your system can run Windows 7??

Is this two separate issues? Are you saying you have a bad DVD player, and because of an unrelated Windows issue you need to install Windows but can't because the DVD player is broken?

Writing your post in sentences would clear up the confusion.

If you have a DVD player that is not working, replace it, then install Windows.
