I need help with my mobo

MSI P45 Platinum Socket 775

Q9550 2.83GHZ

8GB DDR2 1066mhz

win7 64-bit

850w PSU

HD 4870 1GB

When my computer shuts down the motherboard makes some weird Morse code sound for about 2 minutes, what is this mean?

Morse Codes for the Mobo:

1 short beep Normal POST - system is ok
2 short beeps POST Error - error code shown on screen
No beep Power supply or system board problem
Continuous beep Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem
Repeating short beeps Power supply or system board problem
1 long, 1 short beep System board problem
1 long, 2 short beeps Display adapter problem (MDA, CGA)
1 long, 3 short beeps Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA)
3 long beeps 3270 keyboard card
No Beeps Short, No power, Bad CPU/MB, Loose Peripherals
One Beep Everything is normal and Computer POSTed fine
Two Beeps POST/CMOS Error
One Long Beep, One Short Beep Motherboard Problem
One Long Beep, Two Short Beeps Video Problem
One Long Beep, Three Short Beeps Video Problem

The comp cries HELP in the Morse code..... so I think you're both saying the same thing..... :)

And of course since you're having a problem when it shuts down..... I have a feeling that your computer sends you a Siren sort of a signal, more than a Morse code, it's most probably that the Processor fan goes off before the system shuts down, leading to an overheating issue. Try to change the Alarm setting in the BIOS and the Fan Throttle settings too.
