Hi folks,
i oc my gigabyte g41 and DC E6600 3.06 like this..
I set fsb to 333 and removed 0.5(rounding)...ram: 1x2GB hynix 1333 ddr3 at 7-9-9-24@666mhz

cpuid shows 3.66ghz each core...and hyperpi results showed huge time saves...

No volt change and at stock fan...no cab fan and room temp is ~30c....
Shows Idle temp 32c, at full load 55c....avg 42c

i use it for net browsing that too text only...

it won't boot at 350fsb...ram can do 9-9-9-28 at 785mhz... So it must be cpu...

My questions..
1) do increasing cpu volt solves the prob or not
(mobo allowing fsb range: 100 - 1200)

2) cpu fails at 60c...is this the limit or due to mobo(warning temp is 60c)

thanks...
Sam
