is 4 gb(4 x 1gb)ddr2 800 memory better than 8 gb ddr2 667(4x 2gb)memory?my intel dg965wh can only handle 8 gb od ddr2 667 ram

No, 8G/667 or even 6G is much better but why would you need that much RAM?

Although performance wise the difference isn't much but having more capacity is better than having better timings in terms of performance

2x2GB 800MHz=4GB 800MHz is enough, at least that you use many Adobe programs at the same time, the 8GB will be a wasted of money.
