You may notice there is also a Toolkit and Fan in there, All my screwdrivers went missing, and the Fan is for either a just-in-case or any open fan slot

Looks good, there's certainly nothing wrong with that build, but I would consider an 1156 i7 860 build as well as it will save you a good deal of money with virtually no performance hit.

Im Looking to eventually upgrade and with 1366 moving up to 6 cores eventually on Intel's next batch of CPUs, I believe it would be a better upgrade path option

Ah, fair enough, that's about the only advantage X58 has imo.

Switched the HDD, and did some more than a fair share of checking on the cooler, coming up with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185093 having the curret top >$50 cooling for the i7

^ The Scythe is a very good CPU cooler...Get another fan and set it in Push-Pull Config...that would improve cooling...
