Hi,
I'll probably sell my computer soon and before I do it, I'd like to move my current data to a new SATA III hard drive, but my current computer doesn't have support for SATA III disks (I bought it 3 years ago, there was no SIII then).
I'll get a new computer that will have SIII support, so my question is, can I plug the SATA III hard drive in my old SATA II motherboard to copy files? I know I wouldn't get the SIII speed, but it's not a problem, I just want to save my files.
Thanks!
