I am building myself a new gaming PC very soon, not my first, and was wondering if it would be worth the extra ~$20 to get the 2GB version instead of the 1GB. I do some graphic design also and the occasional video editing for friends. I will be using 2 monitors and don't know if 2GB of vRam would help for that at all. Would the only thing it help with be the graphic design and loading higher res textures in game? It's only $20. Is it worth it?

I have been told that the 2GB cards will be better for multiple monitors, especially at higher resolutions.

I went with 2GB for my 3 monitor set up and am not at all unhappy that I did.

For $20, and for all of the reasons that you listed, I would definitely go for the 2GB card.
