Taskbar

Hello,
Using Winfdows XP, lower bar became vertical on right side of screen and double normal width.
Was able to drag it back down to horizontal location but all icons show down there also.
I recently switched servers and did just dfefrag the system. Help to get taskbar to normal size.

Not sure what "switched servers" means here, but neither that nor doing a defrag would cause this.

At some point you dragged the bar to a different location.

If you are talking about your desktop icons being there, right-click on the taskbar select Toolbars" and close the "desktop" toolbar.
