I have an Odin pro 550 watts,
I have a phenom ii 955 be OC'd @ 3.8ghz (1.45 volts)
2 sticks of kingston value ram, ddr3 1333mhz
2 sata disks 500gb baraccuda
ATI 5850 oc'd to 900/1200 @ 1.212 volts

Question is, can i still add a 2nd 5850? or a 9800gtx for physics.Thanks!

Here are the official ATI power recommendations for the ATI Radeon HD 5850 and HD 5870 video cards.

ATI Radeon™ HD5850 System Requirements:

PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard

500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75 watt, 6-pin, PCI Express® power connectors.

600 Watt or greater power supply with four 75 watt, 6-pin, PCI Express® power connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode.

ATI Radeon™ HD5870 System Requirements:

PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard.

500 Watt or greater power supply with two, 75 watt, 6-pin, PCI Express® power connectors.

600 Watt or greater power supply with four, 75 watt, 6-pin, PCI Express® connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode.

The power supply recommendations are for an entire pc system.

550 watt Odin is rated at 41 amps at 12 volts. I conservatively estimate 10 amps for an OC 'd CPU, around 22 amps for a pair of 5850's, 4 amps for two HD's and an optical, and an amp for fans. That's a high side estimate of 37 amps.

It should work but you won't have much in reserve.

Try to go for atleast 600W
Since new card are remarkably lower power consumptives so 600W will do the trick
I don't think it's a good idea to put second 5850 on 500W
But you can safely put 9800 GT on it

GOOD LUCK
