Some games are not playing and also some softwares aro not installing

in my system i have installed windows xp after installing that some softwares and games are not installing but those are installed in windows 7 and vista and also other systems

Give some examples, What games? What software. Some may or may not be compatible with Windows XP. Windows XP only supports up to DirectX 9.0c so if the games/applications you are trying to install require A newer version of DirectX then it will not work on XP.

like vice city and road rash etc.. those are playing in other system windows xp those are not playing in my pc only on windows xp but playing in windows 7 formatted 2 to 3 times but no use please solve this my mother boars is msi v-class and amd sempron pre processor
